Uniformed Security Officer Services

Our Security Officers provide a variety of standard and special services. Each Security Officer is required to demonstrate initiative and to possess interpersonal skills compatible with good customer service. The services provided include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Access control;
  • Traffic control;
  • Disabled vehicle assistance;
  • Responding to calls for emergencies;
  • Security/Safety prevention analysis;
  • Foot and vehicle patrols;
  • Management of lost and found items;
  • Enforcement of property pass and material transfer procedures;
  • Opening and lockdown procedures;
  • Escorts;
  • Preparation of security/safety reports and documentation of activity;
  • Monitoring of communication devices, alarm systems and CCTV interface systems;
  • Concierge services

Concierge

Our Receptionist/Security Concierge personnel possess excellent interpersonal skills compatible with good customer service to assist our client’s visitors and staff, while performing security related functions. The services provided include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Access control;
  • Visitor registration and direction;
  • Concierge services;
  • Responding to calls for emergencies;
  • Security/Safety prevention analysis;
  • Management of lost and found items;
  • Enforcement of property pass and material transfer procedures;
  • Opening and lockdown procedures;
  • Interior/exterior patrols;
  • Preparation of security/safety reports and documentation of activity;
  • Monitoring of communication devices, alarm systems and CCTV interface systems;

Patrol Services

National Security’s Patrol Division is staffed with highly trained Patrol Supervisors and Patrol Officers, who conduct daily interior /exterior inspections of our client’s facilities and property. Security Patrols are conducted with a marked National Security patrol vehicle, providing a visual security presence and deterrent. Our Patrol staff is trained to recognize potentially hazardous situations or threats and maintain detailed patrol journals and incident reports which are reviewed daily by our Supervisors and Operations Manager. All reports are then provided to our clients for review. If there is an emergency, our Patrol staff works in conjunction with our 24 hour Communications and Command Center to notify the proper authorities, alert the Client, and act as a liaison between police and emergency personnel in order to serve the best interest of our client.

Alarm Response Services

National Security’s Patrol Division/ Alarm Response Service will quickly respond to an alarm at your facility with a qualified security supervisor that’s been trained to recognize a security breach or potential security/safety threat. In the event of a false alarm, our Patrol staff will make an interior/exterior inspection of your building and property to insure your facility has not been compromised. If there is an emergency, our Patrol staff works in conjunction with our 24 hour Communications and Command Center to notify the proper authorities, alert the Client, and act as a liaison between Police and emergency personnel in the best interest of our client. All activity is documented in a patrol journal that is reviewed by our Operations Manager and provided to our client.

Security Surveys and Risk Management

National Security’s risk management team will utilize its extensive experience and knowledge to assess a client’s vulnerabilities and risk profile. The team will then formulate a security/safety management strategy and recommend customized solutions. National Security evaluates existing client loss prevention strategies and recommends and facilitates changes that will greatly improve the client’s risk/loss exposure. Some of the sector industries and businesses that National Security has experienced significant success with include, but are not limited to:

Strike and Labor Dispute Security Personnel and Management Programs

National Security’s management team has 30 years of experience developing and implementing work continuation plans for small and large companies, both public and private, that are affected by labor negotiations, disputes, and strike actions. The primary focus of National Security’s management team during a work stoppage is the prevention, detection and deterrence of disruptive or illegal acts against the best interests of our client. National Security will provide or assist in the development and implementation of customized strike policies and procedures that meet our client’s expectations for a safe and effective work continuation process.

Consultation and Security Management Services

Protecting assets and providing a safe work environment is fundamental to the success of any business. However, we recognize that some businesses do not have the need or the resources to employ full time professionals to address their security needs. For these businesses, National Security offers consultation and security management services that identify a full range of security services that can be implemented as needed. Our services include loss prevention, physical security, technology, substance abuse prevention, and investigations.
